Cookouts are popular during summer holidays. Cookouts are similar to picnics. People have many different kinds of foods. In America, traditional cookout foods are hamburgers, salad, watermelon and cake. In some places, people cook steak and fish at cookouts. People enjoy fruit in the summer. They cook their food on a grill. Families usually meet on weekends to eat and have fun together.
